Strategic Account Manager, Human Healthcare
Full Time, Remote - US
Edcetera is seeking a Strategic Account Manager who will be responsible for driving customer retention and renewals by ensuring that business partners and institutions are satisfied with the products and services they receive and fulfill the product demand outlined in the negotiated partnerships. This role, which reports to the Vice President of Sales, Healthcare, and will work cross-team with product, and marketing to achieve the ideal customer experience and build strong, long-term relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a background in customer success, sales fulfillment and sales enablement, marketing and client engagement. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our B2B customer retention and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from the initial sales experience to the implementation of the partnership deliverables
- Assist clients with coordinating partnership products and service to the appropriate internal teams and/or deliver the services when appropriate
- Foster relationship development with clients through scheduled touch points, meetings, and needs assessments for future offerings or services
- Develop and run regular check in with clients to deliver best in class client experience, gather feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, share best practices and make recommendations to maximize the value of their received services
- Create quarterly and annual business review presentations outlining the partnership and KPI deliverables and coordinate input for the presentation with marketing, product and sales leadership.
- Conduct product or services trainings when necessary
- Daily utilization of CRM to create and maintain client records, manage pipeline, track emails and supply reporting
- Come prepared to discuss Customer Success, retention attainment and forecast, as well as challenges with the weekly 1x1 with Vice President of Sales
- Act as the point of contact to report product feedback, resolve issues, concerns, technical problems, and coordinate internal teams to provide the solutions
- Monitor contracts and proactively engage in client renewals well in advance of the renewal date
- Secures contracts for all renewals leveraging renewals rates
- Regularly meet with sales leadership to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, then schedule meetings with the client and the appropriate seller to close partnership expansion
- Encourage satisfied clients to become active advocates and refer new business
- Present webinars, informal education, and sales slide decks to clients in order to inform and determine potential partnership expansion opportunities for the appropriate seller to expand current partnerships
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, related fields or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in a customer facing role, such as customer service, customer success, or client management
- Adept at relationship management, including maintenance strategies and identifying needs based on market conditions and business acumen
- Experienced with negotiating contracts
- Expertise with Salesforce required
- Flexibility with schedule
- Lean process creation and implementation experience
- Self-Starter with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- A talent, resilience, and resourcefulness to quickly resolve friction points with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communicator with strong discovery skills to determine product and solutions for clients
- Professionalism and integrity
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills
- Proven track record of collaboration with cross-functional departments
- Thrives in a dynamic environment, deals with ambiguity, problem-solves and creates clarity
- Experience and mastery with Google Suite and Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Utilizes influence to drive results
- 10%-20% travel, as needed
Compensation
- Salary starts at $70,000 with quarterly KPI bonuses, commensurate with experience
