Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Cincinnati location.

Position: Phlebotomy Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
• Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
• Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
• Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
• Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience

State Requirements:

• CURRENT Medical Technical Certification (Phlebotomy, Medical Assisting, CNA, Laboratory Technician, etc.) in the state of Ohio with a minimum of 3 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide a copy of phlebotomy certificate upon request
• Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED and postsecondary completion (Current Medical Technical Certification may be substituted for postsecondary education requirement)

Schedule:
PM Shift: Monday- Thursday, 6:00PM - 10:00PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Phlebotomy: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Medical Technical Certificate (Phlebotomy, MA, etc.) (Required)
