Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Wauwatosa location.

Position: Phlebotomy Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
• Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
• Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
• Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
• Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience

State Requirements:

• Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of Wisconsin, with a minimum of 2 years of full-time phlebotomy experience in the last 5 years (including venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement); a copy of the phlebotomy certificate will be required upon request
• Hold at least a high school diploma or GED, and have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school directly related to the field of teaching; a copy of the diploma or transcript will be required upon request.

Schedule:
PM Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00pm-10:00pm
Weekend Shift: Saturdays, 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• No weekends
• Weekends only
