Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Richmond location.

Position: Phlebotomy Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
- Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
- Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
- Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
- Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
- Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
- Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
- Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
- Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
State Requirements:
- Hold an associate degree in the discipline and an appropriate certificate in the field, must provide copy of certificate and degree upon request; OR
- CURRENT Medical Technical Certification (Phlebotomy, Medical Assisting, CNA, Laboratory Technician, etc.) in the state of Virginia with a minimum of 2 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide copy of certificate upon request
- A minimum of high school or GED completion is required, must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request
- Employment offers are contingent upon completion of a background check
