Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Glendale location.

Position: Phlebotomy Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
• Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
• Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
• Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
• Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
• Inventory Duties as needed.

State Requirements:

• Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of California, with a minimum of 3 years of full-time phlebotomy experience in the last 5 years (including venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement); a copy of the phlebotomy certificate will be required upon request.
• The following experience and/or certifications will NOT be accepted: Medical Assistant, CNA, Self-Employed/Independent/Contractor, Mobile Phlebotomists or Blood Bank. (Whole Blood Donation)
• Hold at least a high school diploma or GED, and have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school directly related to the field of teaching; a copy of the diploma or transcript will be required upon request.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Documents Needed-

• Current CPT 1 License
• High School completion
• Current resume

Schedules:
AM Shift: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
