Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Lauderhill location.

Position: Phlebotomy Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
• Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
• Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
• Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
• Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience

State Requirements:

• CURRENT Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of Florida with a minimum of 2 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide a copy of phlebotomy certificate upon request
• Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED and have completed a program of postsecondary education (college, career technical education, university, etc) in phlebotomy from an accredited institution or an institution licensed to operate as a postsecondary educational institution, must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request
• Employment offers are contingent upon completion of a background check

Schedule:

WKND Shift: Saturdays, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Substitute Schedule:

AM Shift: Mondays-Thursdays, 9:00AM - 1:00PM

PM Shift: Mondays-Thursdays, 6:00PM - 10:00PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
