Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Anchorage location.

Position: Phlebotomy Instructor *Position starts in May 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
  • Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
  • Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
  • Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
  • Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
  • Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
  • Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
  • Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience

State Requirements:

  • At least two years of full time teaching experience and/or work experience in the field for which training is offered (venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement); OR
  • A bachelor's degree with a major in the field of instruction from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education
  • Employment offers are contingent upon completion of a background check
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Schedules:
AM Shift: 9:00AM-1:00PM, Monday-Thursday
Weekend Shift: 8:00AM-4:30PM Saturdays
