About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and student-focused Phlebotomy Instructor to provide comprehensive instruction in the art and science of phlebotomy. This role is responsible for preparing aspiring phlebotomists with the knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism required to succeed in the healthcare field.

The ideal candidate will cultivate a positive, structured, and safe learning environment while delivering high-quality lecture and hands-on clinical instruction. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and adherence to educational and regulatory standards.

Campus Location: 1300 N 200 E, Logan, UT 84341
Available Schedules: AM Shift: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm *every other month

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy, including lecture and clinical drawing sessions
  • Deliver curriculum content clearly and effectively to ensure student understanding and competency
  • Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment
  • Supervise students during clinical practice to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Encourage and support students throughout the program to promote successful completion
  • Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
  • Manage onsite inventory and supplies
  • Complete required classroom documentation in accordance with company policies
  • Maintain productive attendance and timeliness for all scheduled classes
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

State Qualifications

  • Post-secondary certificate in the field of instruction; OR
  • At least two years of teaching experience and/or work experience in the field for which training is offered.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Phlebotomy Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant occupational work experience in phlebotomy
  • Strong communication and instructional skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • A secure address to receive inventory shipments
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Proficiency with technology, including iPads, mirror casting, and basic troubleshooting
  • Professional demeanor and effective classroom management skills

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • EKG knowledge and work experience
  • Prior teaching or training experience

Documents Required Upon Application

  • Copy of Phlebotomy Certification (if experience requirement are not met)
  • Proof of Education (GED, Diploma, Transcripts)
  • Current Resume (with month/year of start and end of each job)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

  • In order to receive an offer of employment, you will be required to submit proof of education, proof of a current Phlebotomy Certification (if experience requirements are not met,) and an up to date resume meeting certain guidelines. Will you be able to provide these during the application process?
  • The classes we need taught take place Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm, every other month. For example, classes would take place in November, January, March, etc. These hours are part time, and every other month you will not be teaching. Is this a schedule you can accommodate and are interested in?

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Phlebotomy: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Phlebotomy Technician Certification (Preferred)
